some Stories of gratitude

I was very motivated to join this program. In the first place because of my own journey and second because I wish to help others dealing with their mental health and stressors in life.

A year before the yoga teacher training, my inner journey started to make sense after years of struggling.

This teacher training supported my journey a lot. I was able to really integrate yoga and meditation into my daily life which helped me to recognize and let go of childhood 'trauma' and to come closer to the person that I am. More and more able to follow my heart and to express myself. I would never have come this far without yoga and meditation.

By experiencing the whole process myself I became very motivated to share my lessons with others. To share with them how important it is to make the journey within.

As a very disciplined person I was able to go on this journey on my own supported by this program, reading books, and by integrating yoga and meditation into my life, but I am happy that we created a little subgroup as well.

Lydia

yoga teacher/ military medical doctor

The theory behind yoga was clearly explained by this lovely team — with well-arranged presentations and great exercises. The days were dynamic and interactive because the theory was alternated with practical examples and exercises. I have experienced this as very instructive and pleasant.

This way I can apply the theory directly to myself and also in the yoga classes I teach. Anneke is a very passionate yoga therapist and trainer and this is contagious. Her positivity and genuine interest created a good atmosphere during the training. Her direct and honest, sometimes confrontational, questions also led to instructive insights. I am impressed by her energy and motivation to put this different vision on mental problems on the map and to integrate yoga in the care systems.

During this program I came to new insights and I found confirmation of my own application of yoga. I am grateful to Anneke that as a pioneer she has created a platform where like-minded yoga teachers, care providers and others involved can find each other. An important source for me in which I find recognition and feel supported in my mission; Integrating yoga into treatment for eating disorders. I am convinced that by joining forces we can give the positive effect of yoga a place in society. If you are interested in the healing effect of yoga, I absolutely recommend that you participate in a training with Anneke.

Rianne

yoga teacher/ psychologist

Although I was a bit confused in the beginning, this training has been life changing for me! Confusing because as a long term yoga practitioner, I realized I got stuck in certain habits that over time had become patterns. Anneke is such a warm personality and makes you feel very welcome and she helped me dealing with these patterns in a very gentle and kind way.  In her work she combines her knowledge with so much love and enthusiasm, that you immediately want to start to apply the teachings.

Everyone in the team makes the explanations very easy to understand and light to digest. Furthermore, they inspire you to apply compassion not only in your teaching style, but in all aspects of your life. I have learned many valuable lessons and gained beautiful new insights. I can’t wait to work again with Anneke and her team.
