The following Privacy Policy is for the website nytacademy.com website (the “Site”) managed by Network Yoga Therapy (“COMPANY,”we” or “us”) and it explains the types of information that we gather about you while you are using the nytacademy.com website (the “Site”) and the ways in which we use this information. We only share purchase and payments information with third parties who help us provide our orders and store services to you.

Online marketing and email mailing list

We operate an email mailing list program, used to inform subscribers about products, services and/or news we supply/publish. You can subscribe through an online automated process where you give your explicit permission. There is a double opt-in process where the user is required to confirm their wish to subscribe via a confirmation of subscription email. Users are then given details of the option to unsubscribe at any time, as well as our email marketing system privacy policy.

Subscriber personal details are collected, processed, managed and stored in accordance with the regulations mentioned above (GDPR).

Subscribers can unsubscribe at any time through contacting contact@networkyogatherapy.org or as detailed in the footer of every marketing email.

Email marketing messages may contain tracking beacons / tracked clickable links or similar server technologies in order to track subscriber activity within email marketing messages. Where used, such marketing messages may record a range of subscriber data relating to engagement, geographic, demographics and already stored subscriber data.

Accessing your information
You have the right to ask us not to use your personal information for direct marketing purposes. You also have the right to request a copy of the personal information that we hold about you and to have any inaccuracies rectified.

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes. 

 

Social Media Policy

While we may have official profiles on social media platforms users are advised to verify authenticity of such profiles before engaging with, or sharing information with such profiles. We will never ask for your password or personal details on social media platforms. There is a sign-up button on our Facebook page that links to an Ontraport verified email sign-up page that complies with Ontraport’s security policy.

There may be instances where our website features social sharing buttons, which help share web content directly from web pages to the respective social media platforms. You use social sharing buttons at your own discretion and accept that doing so may publish content to your social media profile feed or page.
